Ancestors is a series of 8 photographs that explore my ancestral lineage, utilizing the graphic design and typography methods appropriate for each time period (the 1890s-1980s) explored. This research informs the study of my ancestors— who they were both physically and psychologically, and how they are present in who I am as a person.
